why this new blog?

for some of the friends and family who have been following our adoption journey, a little caveat, explanation and obfuscation is in order. our other blog, the one with our last name in the title is coming down for confidentiality reasons. Upon the advice of several blogging friends, tis better to conceal than reveal. As of right now, we are not members of the bloggarazzi...... but in case we ever do become such........ well you get the idea.

secondly, this new direction lends itself to the hope that brown paper doll will become a regular post place, and you can check in with us a little more often. I hope to bring a little more insight and reflection here on a semi regular basis.
